Family and infant compresses for gentle cleaning - Urgo

THE c ompresses sterile no woven family & infant , are indicated for cleaning superficial wounds. They have a texture gentle For clean gently wounds or small everyday ailments. They are hypoallergenic And sterile for optimal hygiene.

Instructions for use :

Cleaning wounds / making dressings:

1. Wash your hands with soap and water.
2. Open a sterile sachet.
3. Clean and disinfect the wound and its surroundings with a compress, an antiseptic solution or other active ingredient then dry the wound with a compress.
4. If necessary, carry out hemostasis (stopping the bleeding using a physical method).
5. Depending on the size of the wound and the amount of exudate, cover the wound with one or two compresses.
6. Secure with adhesive tape or other means of fixation.
7. Renew the dressing, according to the instructions for use, once or twice a day depending on the prescription, the condition of the wound or the dressing.

Cleansing healthy skin:

1. Open a sterile sachet.
2. Use a compress to clean the desired area using saline if necessary.

Precautions :

• Regularly monitor a wound and its surroundings for signs of infection such as pain, redness, swelling, odor or discharge.
• If in doubt or if there is an infection, contact a doctor or nurse.
• Single-use sterile compresses: do not reuse, do not store compresses in an open bag, do not reposition a compress already applied, otherwise there is a risk of infection.
• If redness or irritation occurs, discontinue use.
• Compresses sterilized with ethylene oxide, do not resterilize. Check the integrity of the sterility protector before use. Do not use if the packaging is damaged.
• Do not use the compresses for more than 30 consecutive days without interruption.
• Do not use after the expiry date (indicated on the sachet and on the box).
• Keep the compress sachets in their original box.

Composition: Viscose, polyester.

Sizes: 7.5 cm x 7.5 cm. Available in boxes of 20 or 50 compresses.
